The Rock has mocked his cousin, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, over the latest commercial he did for C4 Energy.

Roman Reigns is WWE’s biggest star, so he’ll often be involved with the commercial deals that WWE does with other brands.

One of those is with C4 Energy, where Reigns drinks the drink while walking on a treadmill, which just so happens to be placed on a dock.

The commercial, which you can see below or by clicking here, was certainly quite eye-catching.

During the video, Roman said that he likes to train in the most “extreme conditions”, and this caught the attention of The Rock.

The former WWE Champion and Hollywood megastar commented on the video, poking some fun at ‘The Tribal Chief’.

Rocky asked “who was writing this s*** for” Reigns, questioning why he was told to say he was in extreme conditions when he was walking very slowly on the dock in seemingly rather warm weather.

The Rock and Roman are cousins, both being part of the Anoa’i family, so Rocky’s comments are definitely light-hearted, albeit still quite savage.

Rumours actually suggest that if WWE gets their way, The Rock will be returning for his first run since 2012 next year to feud with Roman.

For the last couple of years, WWE has wanted to book The Rock v Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, and it seems like next year’s show is going to be when that match happens.

It’s worth noting those that these rumours emerged during Vince McMahon’s time as Chairman, CEO and Head of Creative.

Now that Vince has retired from WWE and is no longer involved with the company, the status of Rock’s return and match with Roman remains unclear.

However, Rock is childhood friends with new WWE co-CEO Nick Khan, so it’s unlikely that Vince’s departure will automatically mean that The Rock’s return is off.

Also, WWE’s new regime will still see the significance and value in bringing The Rock back for the biggest show of the year, so they’ll likely still move to make that happen if the 50-year-old is keen.
